RIVOCEO / POLICIES & TRUST

Your data rights

A guide for people asking about their own information—not just RivoCEO customers.

Draft prepared September 25, 2026
R / TRUST
Review draft — not approved for publication

Data practices and the online privacy-request process still need confirmation. This draft does not replace commitments attached to an accepted order.

01You should not need to buy a list or create an account.

02A removal request and a marketing unsubscribe are different actions.

03Provide only the details needed to locate your record.

Looking for your information?

You do not need to purchase a list to ask about a record.

01

Choose the request that fits

You may want to ask what information relates to you, correct a role or company detail, request deletion, object to processing, or opt out of sale. Other rights can apply depending on your location and the relevant law. Explain what outcome you want rather than trying to choose a legal label.

A request about your professional record is separate from an order complaint. You do not have to be a customer to raise a concern about your own information.

02

Information that helps locate a record

Prepare your name, the business email or company associated with the record, a reply address, and a brief description of the request. A link or record reference can help distinguish people with similar names.

Do not send a password, payment information, or a full identity document as a first step. If additional verification is justified, it should be limited to the request and handled through an appropriate secure method.

03

Verification and representatives

Access to private information may require checks to prevent disclosure to the wrong person. Opting out of sale should not be treated as if it necessarily requires the same identification as receiving a copy of an account record.

An authorized representative may make a request where applicable law allows it. The relevant authorization and any necessary confirmation should be checked proportionately, not used to impose unnecessary obstacles.

04

Removal, suppression, and independent recipients

Removal from RivoCEO does not automatically erase a record from an unrelated source or every recipient’s system. The response should explain the scope of the action taken and any notification duties that apply.

A minimal suppression entry may be needed to prevent a later import from putting the same record back into the available audience. It should serve that purpose rather than become a replacement marketing record.

If a business has contacted you, its unsubscribe or objection process addresses its own communications. Asking RivoCEO to suppress a record and asking that business to stop messaging you may both be relevant.

05

Response, review, and complaints

Applicable law determines deadlines, permissible extensions, exceptions, and appeal rights. A response should explain the action taken or the reason a request could not be fully granted. These pages do not waive a right to complain to the relevant privacy authority.

Where the law protects people from discrimination for exercising privacy rights, that protection remains in place. The operational process must support those rights; publishing this page alone does not implement it.

06

Request channel: publication check

A monitored privacy contact and a tested submission route are required before this draft is published. The local contact form is not yet connected to a working RivoCEO support backend. Do not rely on an unconfirmed form submission as a received request.

For postal correspondence, write to RivoCEO, Privacy Requests, 4827 Westheimer Road, Suite 615, Houston, TX 77057, USA. Include a return contact method and only the information needed for your request. We do not display a public email address.
